Congress created the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to lead a nationwide effort to honor America's fallen firefighters. Since 1992, the non-profit foundation has developed and expanded programs and resources that assist their survivors in rebuilding their lives.
In support of the foundation's mission, we blended some of our best Syrah and Zinfandel grapes with a touch of Alicante Bouschet grapes from the 2012 vintage to create this special wine.

This year's Tribute Red Blend is big and bold yet understated and approachable, much like those this wine was created to support. The blend of Zinfandel and Syrah with the support of Alicante Bouchet showcases a beautiful ruby color with notes of sarsaparilla, pepper, and rose wood on the nose. This fruit-forward wine has flavors of candied raspberries, black currant, and cedar undertones with balanced acidity and well-structured oak tannins. This wine benefits from slight decanting or air exposure through the opened bottle prior to serving but can be consumed now or aged in a cellar for 8-10 years for future enjoyment.
56% Zinfandel, 38% Syrah, 6% Alicante Bouchet
