Congress created the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to lead a nationwide effort to honor America's fallen firefighters. Since 1992, the non-profit foundation has developed and expanded programs and resources that assist their survivors in rebuilding their lives.

In support of the foundation's mission, we blended some of our best Syrah, Zinfandel, and Alicante Bouschet grapes from the 2010 vintage to create this special wine.

I tried ordering 2 bottles and they cannot ship to PA, why I don't know but I left a message for someone to call me back. Ashame because I know alot of people who want to order this here.

Unfortunately we can't ship to certain states due to local laws. :( Here's the excerpt from our "Legal" page (accessible from the bottom menu):

States Authorized for Direct Shipment

Due to the ever-changing nature of wine shipping laws, we may be able to ship wines, directly or indirectly, to all states except Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, or Utah. Dana, it's not fair or accurate to give Distant Cellars and The 2010 Tribute wine a 1 star review. It is not their fault that you live in a state where wine is not allowed to be shipped! I don't think you understood that. With that being said Thank You Gaiser family and Distant Cellars for the support and being involved! I ordered a bottle and cannot wait!! =)

I was pleased to win the auction at the NFFF function in Indy. I also had the pleasure to meet one of the owners of the winery that gave me an in depth history of the wine and the process in which it was made. When I returned home to Virginia my wife instantly wanted to try the wine I brought home from a firemans conference. We both were pleasantly met with a bold but yet easy to drink red blend. This is an excellent wine and hats off to the Distant Cellars for creating this awesome project that gives back to the brothers that have fallen in the line of duty. Cheers!

Hi, I'm a firey in Melbourne, Australia, I was hoping to get some of this quality wine for all of the reasons above but it's a bit further to ship it down here :( I'm now considering my next trip over there so I can personally pick it up and not miss out :) I hope it remains full on the way home tho :) Well done to all involved.. Excellent..... I wear my NFFF badge with pride, always in memory and support..

Your support to the NFFF is so meaningful and considerate! Sadly my husband's name was added to their memorial in 2010. I am not much of wine drinker but was thinking that these will make a nice gift to all those that were there for me & my family!! Thank you for getting involved with NFFF.

Excellent way to honor our firefighters! Opened first bottle on what would have been my husband's 58th birthday. My husband died in the line of fire in 1995

I enjoyed 3 cases of this very special wine. Not only did Distant Cellars bottle a great red wine, they also support the National Fallen Firefighter Foundation. Great wine, great cause!! Looking forward to the 2011 Tribute Wine.
